I thought you said 3 defenders was intolerable. Understand that when playing with 3 defenders is as safe as playing with 5. When theres a break through on a flank and the outside midfieler is beat. One of the central defenders comes out of his central position and acts as a full-back, and if the opposing team is playing with two forwards theres one defender for each attacker. Also if the team is playing with 3 forwards one of the defensive midfielders acts as a center-back and the problem is solved.
