What you guys think about this formation? I didn't invent it, this is the actual real life formation.
I do like 2 supporting forwards in a front 3. Maybe a bit narrow otherwise? But Grosso and Zambrotta do like to get forward whenever they can so ...
Don't know about Pirlo's position. He might get closed down a little quicker there and have to rush his passing?
The supporting forwards don't have to stay behind the main striker all the time, they can stay wide and act like wingers too.
Also if Grosso and Zambrotta go up like you said, this formation can be very successful.
It is a good formation, if Di Natale and Del Piero cover the wings then it basically covers the whole pitch.
