As I look at Bayern Munich and their squad I automatically see that the 4-3-3 fits Bayern Munich. Why? Because first of all they got a true target man Luca Tony. They got two players that are exceptionally good on the wings like Podolski and Ribery. They got box-to-box midfielders like Van Bommel, Ze Roberto, and Schweinsteiger and have a very good defense with experimented defenders like Lucio and Demichelis. If Bayern Munich used this formation it would most likely mount into success. What do you guys think?

You would need thougher guys in your midfield. Shcweinsteiger is an attacking mf and Ze Roberto is a winger. Van Bommel will not be enough to hold the midfield.

And Podolski is a pure striker, he hates playing on the wings.

That is why it's untested.

With these players, I'd be looking at a 4-4-2 type effort with Ribery and Schweinsteiger on the wings, and Podolski behind Toni. Ribery needs space in front of him to dribble (which is his main strength) and Schweinsteiger has been disappointing when asked to play a more central role.
Have to disagree about Ze Roberto though, Hcho. He's played as a more central midfielder for about 5 years now. Never the best winger, he's nowhere near fast enough these days.
