Couple of comments about your lineup. Valencia wouldn't be comfortable in this system - he's purely and simply a touchline hugger and doesn't look to come infield at all, and Carrick is more suited to where you have Fletcher playing his passes from deep. Anderson would be a better backup for Scholes.

Valencia used to be quite impressive with Wigan. Maybe he's struggling to adapt to top flight.

Berbatov and Rooney should switch places. Berba is more the one who makes big chances. And Scholes has just more and more been the player who lays behind the other midfielder, like Alonso. And Fletcher has just more and more been a more offensive player. Just to inform you :) But nice line-up though.

What I would dearly like to see, although they've really only gone with it in Europe, is a midfield of Hargreaves, Carrick and Scholes laying balls forward for Berbatov, Rooney and Giggs/Nani/Park. But a very fluid system like they had 2/3 years back.

Valencia has started to find his form, don't you think? We'll be seeing Nani out on January if keeps playing like this.

I agree about Valencia. He's started to make runs infield and has bagged himself a couple of goals for his trouble. Guess he just needed to find some confidence.
