mitonobProbably, this will be the titular formation of Spain team to WC 2010.

Coach Del Bosque is playing with a 4-5-1 formation in the last games.

FeriAtsPedro must be the most overlooked player of this season. He has been fantastic for Barcelona. He can play on the left and as a striker too, gives you options.

I would drop Busquets to bench from your line up and give Alonso that role, have Iniesta and Xavi in front of him and use Pedro on the left.

foxrocksSurely Silva and Iniesta are on the wrong flanks here?

As I commented elsewhere, everything is likely to hinge on the fitness of Fabregas and Torres. If Torres is fully fit, he will probably start. Looking at the lineup above, it would probably be Busquets who made way for him, with Alonso moving to DM.

If Torres is not fit but Fabregas is, then again I think Busquets would make way for in the 5-man midfield shown above, with Alonso at DM. This sacrifices a bit of defensive solidity in favour of unrivalled ball retention and playmaking options.

mitonobI agree with ypu guys but I only try to show the probably team that Del Bosque wants for his Spain.

By the way, I would do the same changes: I would drop Busquets and I would introduced another striker: Pedro or Torres... or both maybe playing with only Xavi in the CM.

About Silva and Iniesta: They usually play in these flanks.

jeb_springfieldI don't think this would be the lineup with Torres fit. Here is what I see happening: http://this11.com/topics/show/3194/spain-ideal

Give me your thoughts...
