SOUTH AFRICA for SOUTH AFRICA-MEXICO

  • vertigo @ 05.06.2010

Parreira will start with this formation: 4-2-3-1.

I only recognize Pienaar and Mokoena. How good is the rest? What are the expectations of saffa public from the team?

    nvr,

    Thanks for your interest.
The team "are they": Piennar and Mokoena. Sibaya that plays for Rubin in Ucrania, is another "mature european" but probably starts as second choice. Parreira finds in the 4-2-3-1, the best system to "protect" the team weaknesses. Saffa public is very enthusiastic and very confident. Never, any host team was eliminated in the first phase of a world cup. They know that Parreira won already the WC in 94 and this year there is the "home factor" too. They really believe that it is possible, even with a team without stars. A real "impossible" dream

South Africa didn't look the most threatening but at least they have the fighting spirit. If the ball in the last minute went in, it would have been a bit unfair to both teams, but I still wanted it to be a goal just for the drama, you know.
