Manchester United line-up vs Everton?

  • cptdangerous @ 04.09.2010

Is this the solution to the problem facing United next weekend? Clearly, they can't afford to drop Berbatov when he's in form, but need extra cover in the middle as well to avoid getting over-run for possession. Hence, I think we should try 4-2-3-1!

What problem? Why would we need extra cover in midfield against, of all teams, Everton?
The only problem we have now is Rooney's poor form. Even then, we have Chicarito if it gets too bad.

tbf, Berbatov usually drops deep anyway, so it's almost like that when the 4-4-2 is used regardless.

Everton away is always a hard game. Even though they're suffering a bit at the start of the season as usual, I still think we need extra cover in midfield!

While I agree Everton away(or home) is a hard game, it's not that they dominate the midfield and hold the control of the game. They generally defend, defend, defend and try to sneak one in with a dead ball.

Rooney is busy visiting prozzies again, no start for him.
