GoonerMelbI think this will be our starting eleven for tough away game at City. Sagna to replace Eboue at RB, with the rest of back 5 same with the one that was played against Birmingham and Shakhtar Donetsk.

Captain Fabregas to replace Wilshere who was suspended for this game for midfield position. Fabregas will be playing in advance position to create more chances.

Arshavin need to play in every big match, with Chamakh keeping the CF position and Nasri in RW. Bench players will be Szczesny, Gibbs, Eboue, Denilson, Rosicky, Walcott, Bendtner.

Play Walcott and Bendtner if we need to be more direct in 2nd half. Hope we could get all three points with a win, 2-1 for Arsenal.

nvrPretty realistic line up. I have a feeling that Rosicky will start over Nasri though. He seems to be a little bit more composed.

GoonerMelbHmm.. I'm not really sure about that, because I think Nasri is ahead of Rosicky in pecking order. It's hard to think when the last time he didn't start in a game when he fit to play.

Both of them have similar role in this team, but different attributes in playing style. But I think Nasri have more potential with he's still just 23 and Rosicky already 30. And Nasri had more end product with 6 goals already under his name so far this season.

nvrMy only gripe with Nasri is, he gets intimidated far too easily against physicality. Rosicky copes with that a bit better.

danmartiI think with Man City playing 3 holding midfielders Rosicky should play instead of AA23. He's the best crosser in the team and we will need to do a lot of work down the flanks. Also his work rate is miles ahead of Arshavin and he won't give up the ball as often. Arshavin with his pace and guile should probably come on later if we need creativity. Other than that I think the formation is fine. I hope Sagna is fit because he's the only other decent crosser Arsenal has. And Fabregas and Nasri should switch positions often to take better advantage of Nasri's superior dribbling and give Cesc more time to pick out the killer pass he does so well.

SpaceGhostDiaby and Fabregas should swap places. Diaby could continue his run of playing high up, and put a physical presence in the middle of the three Man City holders. And Fabregas could dictate play from deep.

But, I don't actually think that will happen.

GoonerMelbI disagree danmarti. I think Arshavin is a definite starter in a game like this. I know he's a bit lazy and out of shape, but we need his "magic" in final third.

Even though his work rate is really bad but you can't argue with his effectiveness, 5 goals and 5 assists in 12 games shows how important he is to our team. If he play like he did last week against Birmingham then swap him with Walcott in 2nd half.

Yea SpaceGhost, I was expecting the same with Diaby in more advance position than Fabregas. Probably they could interchange their position throughout the game like we seen so many times before with this formation.

Vinicius_BernoI prefer Szczesny than Fabianski...
