delboy_lfcthis could be a reality by the end of this transfer window,
i think this team plus 2 more major signing in the summer and the promotion of youngsters like pacheco, suso etc. would make lfc a serious contendes upcoming season. any thoughts? ^^

FeriAtsLiverpool lost their edge after losing Alonso and Mascherano. I don't see them being replaced in your dream team.

delboy_lfcwell feriats, it's true, but losing some players doesnt mean that we have to, at any cost, try to replicate them.

i am confident that one holding midfielder in the quality of m'villa can do the job,
surely the passing range of one alonso is had to recreate, but hey, lfc must go on without xabi, whom i sorely miss.
but that's life.

great teams can cope with losses by creating new teams, tactics and environments where the players can fulfil their potential, something at lfc we had problems with

FeriAtsSorry, I should have been clearer. I didn't mean to suggest that Liverpool should replicate them. They lost 2 world class defensive midfielders and didn't buy or produce even one world class player for that position. True different tactics require different type of players, but you need to have at least a very good holding midfielder if you aim for success in PL.

I am not convinced M'villa is up there yet.
