Playing the 4-2-1-3 allows DeRo to play in the hole and we'd have 2 defensive mids to protect the back 4.

TheNearPostThe problem with this formation is that it leaves so much short fall in the back. For example, if someone played a 4-4-2 where the fullbacks get forward, they would be massively outnumbered in the back.
