RFMHEveryone seems to be doing them so I thought i'd give it a go. 7 New players (plus a new/youth GK) which is a touch on the excessive/optimistic side, but 21 players (plus another GK) competing for the 18 Match Day places it has some depth that Liverpool have lacked.

Reina will go, i've little doubt about that, unless by some miracle Liverpool make a top 4 spot (they wont) he will move on and the money they get for will will vastly increase their budget. Schmeichel is 24 and arguably the best keeper in the Championship with great pedigree and will cause a bit of a stir.

The defence, will have 7 players (plus Wilson) truly competing for places for the first time in years with a lot of youth in the back line. Kyrgiakos may still play some part and I think he will still be there but in a far more cover orientated role.

Adam will give Liverpool the creativity they have lacked since Alonso left (he's also only 25) Spearing has been solid since Kenny came in.

To get Albrighton and Young is very optimistic though Villa's lowly position and Liverpool's owners keenness to spend big in the summer may turn heads. Marveaux looks to be coming on a free and Liverpool desperately need wingers which is why i'm putting them down to sign 4 here, but I think they'll more likely end up with 3.

Liverpool to be more 4-4-2 with Suarez up top and more 4-2-3-1 with Gerrard up top if you get what I mean.

I'm sure Liverpool fans would prefer a new player for back up for Carroll but I think Suarez and Kuyt have shown they can be lethal without Carroll and with the wingers and Gerrard the team may get a more even spread of goals rather than relying on 2-3 players.

As for outs, I've gone for:
Reina, Cole, Jovanovic, Rodriguez, N'Gog, Poulsen, Jones, Konchesky, Aqualini, Degen. Raking in probably around 37million with the lions share being Reina at around £25million (too much yes, but it's what's been quoted).

Losing 10 but gaining between 7-8 I don't think is a massive over estimation.

Would this team challenge for the title? No, too many new players needing to get together, but the core of the team remains so I think top 4 spot would be on the cards.

nvrScheimeichel is really good, I rate him. I rate NGog, too. He could have improved a lot better if he were under the wings of a manager like Wenger.

RFMHN'Gog I think is a bit of an enigma, the boy can finish and gets into the right positions, certainly that the Liverpool fans haven't taken to him effected his confidence quite heavily. Hodgson rated him, but playing him with Torres was bizarre, neither player looked to feed of each other, although with Babel against Villa with Babel doing the running there was more balance to his play.

I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up at WBA, assuming they stay up next season, Odemwingie playing a similar way using pace.

delboy_lfcthis squad is too weak to get into top 4 imho. here my take on your squad:

gk: schmeichel is ok with me, but i havent given up on reina. yet. but i can see your point on reina.

defence: agger is too injury prone, skrtel too inconsistent, age is catching up on carra. and some quality centre back is what this back four seriously lacks. wilson can be a top quality cb but not yet. therefore i could live with skrtel being sold and carra being more and more involved in some coaching role, i think his best days are way past and i'd rather have ayala back from loan and in the squad. the defence has also been our achilles' heel. we cant go into the next season with only one new left back in the squad.
agger could have been one of the greatest cb in our history, but due to his injury record i can live with him being released/sold as well

midfield:

lucas and spearing are just too lightweight to impose themselves on the game, especially jay should be shipped out if u ask me. lucas can be a good back up for adam/sissoko/m'villa but these type of players are desperately needed.

in the central attacking position we need to be thinking about gerrard being replaced over the course of next two seasons. he hasnt performed at a high level for quite some time and once again he's another case of a key player missing too many games due to injury. so if aquilani is sold we need someone in there too.

what we desperately need (simply because we dont have any) are wingers, marveaux is ok, but i am not sure if we wouldnt be buying another aurelio/agger. young, albrighton, hazard (if affordable) should be priorities, not sure about jarvis though, he is maybe mid-table quality but not a starter.

attack: we should be ok with suarez, carroll and kuyt in there, bring in someone for n'gog and that should be enough. n'gog to me has the potential but lacks one thing i find crucial for a top class striker: mental speed. he get into good positions but always makes that one touch too much or one step too much before he shoots or passes. if he was just doing this faster he'd be a starter, but i am affraid he will never be world class. so if someone offers 5m for him i'd let him go.
