Even though there would be to many Barca players this seems to be the most logical formation for spain right now. Pedro can create width one the right which is heavily needed by Spain and by Barcelona. Fabregas adds some penetration (because he is not the next Xavi!!) which makes it alot harder to defend for opponents. I just can't decide whether I'd play Xabi Alonso with his great passing range or Sergio Busquets with his incredible, intelligent movement off the ball.
I am not sure Puyol has another tourney in him. He's been sidelined since the start of this season, his age does not seem to help either.
i think this is a great formation. VDB should try to play Alonso as the only holding, and if Spain need more defensive cover then bring Busquets on for Xavi
i see lots of people with spain formations but why hasnt anybody picked Jose Enrique? i am manchester united fan not liverpool
