Do I tink a squad lke this will be picked? No. There is lots of people trying to convince players not to play because of some misplaced sense of national identity, secondly, the Olympics won't be used as a chance to blood new talent and look to the future it will be used to do the exact opposite, the squad will have players like Beckham, whose selection will be based purely on sentimentality and will be to the detriment of British football as a whole imo.
There are more pressing concerns than the squad now. Injuries will happen, forms will dip and rise. It will be another month or two before we have a full picture of who gets picked up and by whom.
