Watched that game, very good game. Valencia were very good in the first half then Barca dominated. Why was Montoya starting at right back?

Alves was suspended. I thought Montoya had an excellent game though, very similar to Alves in his runs.
I didnt know Alves was suspended. I was only asking but I think Alves has lost his place in the team because Montoya was great.
I doubt it. The effect Alves has for Barcelona is amazing. He's a genuin threat to opponents in an attacking sense, and he can even defend well because of his stamina. Technically good, and good passing as well.
Montoya is definitely one for the future though.
