CHAMP19ONHowever, Fabio da silva may be on loan at benfica next season...

02.05.2012

david1993the only problem is that when man united concede possession they have trouble getting the ball back against teams that keep possession . players that will break up play is needed in cm.

cover for Patrice evra is also needed
i would say =marcel schmelzer of Borussia Dortmund
he is 24 years of age and talented with plenty potential

02.05.2012

CHAMP19ONi agree, we need a cover for patrice evra , never seen schmelzer play but heard about him and seems pretty good, also zeki fryers will be on loan next season.

03.05.2012

david1993fabio and zeki will be gone out on loan i don't think fabio will be the long term replacement for evra

schmelzer is 24 and German international and plus players from the German league are normally cheap

he probably cost between 6-8million

03.05.2012

Proffessional_Ameteur_REDMan Utd possible summer signings:

1. Nathaniel Clyne, Crystal Palace RB, Eng U21. Out of contract at the end of the summer, very cheap.
2. Hazard
3. Modric/Bale
4. Javi Martinez

Also y'all might find this interesting, its from a guardian article today:

In total, United's net spend over the past five years amounts to £51.6m. Which is considerably below the £25m per season the Glazers once promised. City's total is £418.9m, Chelsea £155.9m, Liverpool's £83.3m and Tottenham's £66.7m. Perhaps most surprisingly, Sunderland have also spent more than United, with £69.2m, as have Aston Villa on £68.4m. And who would have thought that Stoke, on £59.7m, would be more prolific spenders than England's best-supported club?

david1993clyne would be a great addition to man united great potential

hazard would be great signing as well and is possible to get

modric/bale--- i would like modric

javi Martinez- since seeing him few years ago i wanted man united to sign him up still do would be excellent player

but 1 problem is that he will cost about 30-40 million to buy cause of taxes in Spain cant see glazers spending that

06.05.2012

mojojojo101Clyne would be a nice addition to United, we need cover at full-back on both sides ( for me Jones/Smalling aren't accomplished enough going forward from that position). Sime Vrsaljko from Dinamo migth be another option.

Hazard would be a great signing for any club, very promising young winger and a natural left-footed player would add something we don't really have. If he can't be picked up for a reasonable price, James Rodriguez would be a great alternative.

Modric/Bale - Bale is a no go for pretty much everyone tbh, Levy wouldn't let him go anywhere for less than £50+ million, which in my opinion is ridiculous. I also don't really think a creative player like Modric is really neccesary, we have plenty of creativity from out wide / Rooney as well as Cleverley/Anderson/Carrick who can help create from deep if needed.

Javi Martinez is a really good player, I worry he has been overated though (I don't personally believe he warrants a £25+ million transfer fee yet). Yann M'Vila is available this summer and would be a good alternative, as would Sandro from Spurs.

@Proffessional_Ameteur_RED - On the net spend thing - People always seem to forget the £80 million we got for Ronaldo, that is bound to warp a 'net spend' figure. Also It's safe to say that Chelsea, Liverpool, City and Stoke have over spent on some average players in the last couple of years.

13.05.2012

chicarooney@CHAMP19ON Fabio wont go to Benfica next season because he would be away from his twin, if he did go to Benfica Rafael would come with him too.

13.05.2012

The_Black_Mamba@chicarooney schole hasn't confirmed is he's staying for another season.
