I do not know how Torres and Cavani can co-exist, but I would like to see it happen. They are the same types of players (fast, skillful) and with players like Mata, Hazard and Oscar providing through balls I believe it could work. This is not a very defensive minded formation and I think should only be used against average opposition (West Ham, Stoke City, etc.). However vs stronger teams (Man Utd., Man City, etc.) we should revert to a 4-2-3-1 formation.
Cannot wait for new season to begin!

EL NINO#9this is such an awesome team and line up but concerning that rb,i dont really like his style of play,rather maicon and if that has to happen,i rather ivanovic be our rb and put that marseille rb on sub for us.

david1993The biggest problem for Chelsea next season will be defending ,With chelsea likely to go out and play attacking football chelsea fans will see the true DI matteo management style .as the season goes on the defence will lack organisation .gaps will appear and it will be easier for opponents to past defence .
a ball out over the defence will catch chelsea out. if a quick player takes terry 1-on-1 they will get past him with ease.
pre season game agaisnt AC Milan. the midfield and defence lacked organisation,plenty of gaps between defence and midfield.
no doubt chelsea will be a better team to watch with all attacking players but i see a lot problems defensively for them

EL NINO#9the main point of a cdm is to win challenges in the midfield,mierles does that better than romeu although i agree romeu is a better passer.

david1993@chelseaboi99 im not as optimistic as you are i dont think chelsea will cope i do expect chelsea to gain champions league spot.
as for RDM im going to make a long term prediction he wont be chelsea manager when 2013-2014
it would be great for chelsea and football for a club legend to stay at the club managing for long time instead been sacked after full season in charge

gogoburbinlots of you seem to be worried about the defence but terry isnt bad maybe on the slow side now but if gets to bad luiz can step in and cahill is good and quick p.s coming from a spurs fan, kinda exited to see chelsea this season can't wait and wanna see kagawa plus a few others

Chelsea had the opportunity to bring in the man that helped make Barcelona what they are today.they held talks but nothing came of it as they never got back to him.
@GogoBurbin im looking forward to watching chelsea at times as well some amazing players.
its not so much Chelsea players its RDM him . when he was at MK Dons and West brom he played attacking football and defence and midfield looked out of positioning and unorganized under RDM .yes i know chelsea have better quality players but i think same will happen

gogoburbin@ david1993 hm chelsea will do gd even if it looks unorganised at the moment soon in the future h will start looking at the organisation and defence he probably is getting the atting style sorted getting the likes of the hazards settled getting everyone to fit in to the style he wants then when he thinks the attacking style is fine he go problem with the defence how can i sort that out
