TFCBloggerI think we have a few keepers that have potential but Borjan seems to have the desire and drive to win as well as being a capable keeper. Cann, Hainault and Jakovic have had a good run in MLS this year and think they've been playing consistently enough for their club teams to show well against Ecuador. Peters is also a full back with pace and can contribute with the attack. I admit that having so many MLS players at the back makes me a bit nervous and I am tempted to throw Stalteri back there but we need to start moving forward with younger players at some point.

There is no-one you can replace De Guzman and Hutchinson with. If they are healthy and playing regularly they add too much quality to overlook. I think Hart will put DeRo out on the wing and let him play his role.

Simeon Jackson and Will Johnson have had a lot of success with their club teams this year and are quality players. I was almost ready to replace one of them with Gerba when I seen his national team scoring record but think he's more of a lone man up top kind of player and I don't think Hart will go with that kind of system.

I know it will not happen but I'd like to see Cordon brought in to see what he could do and introduce some flair. I also think Jonathan Osorio deserves a spot on the bench to show his stuff. I can't wait for this game, it's going to be awesome! I'm going to say 2 1 Canada at BMO!

hchoThere's a Canadian player named Josh Simpson playing for a Turkish side. He looks quite decent to me, is he not good enough for Canadian national team?

TFCBloggerYes, he is good enough, I had him in place of Cordon and he will likely get the start. Cordon is still a very young player and may not even make the bench but this is my preferred formation :-).

hchoFair enough. After all, friendlies are perfect for giving the youngsters a bit of experience.
