hard choice in some positions, leftback was between baines and cole, cole is probably the better player but baines is the more in form i supose. centrebacks kinda pick themselves, wasnt really any rightback who stood out for me. the midfield was a tough choice but think its pretty well balanced, parker,whilshire, merieles and afew others were all possiblities. any thoughts?
Pretty radical choices, I must say. You ommited some names who made huge impacts; Wilshere, Bale, Suarez and Hernandez come to my mind at the first instance.
Same team I'd have picked, except I'd have gone for Wilshere in the middle instead of Tiote
I think I picked the team that I thought would work well as an actual team. I agree whilshire has been excellent this year but he would come in for modric in this team and I think modric has been better this year. Bale is good but I think the front three I have chosen has more goals in them. Suarez was excellent and looks good but he didn't play the whole year. And finally Hernandez, quality striker but I wanted a more all round Player, think hernandez works better in a 441/442. Don't think anyone could pick a perfect team of the year and this team probably wouldn't be the same as my premier league XI.. Lol
