sp88Plenty of space to encourage Evra to get forward on the left. Scholes will sit deeper and, together with Carrick, will spread passes for the front men. Rooney, Tevez and Ronaldo will all have free roles to run into space while Berbatov pulls defenders out of position.

GeorgieWasTheBestUnited would need two footballs to keep everyone happy on the pitch. I wonder how well SAF will manage these tensions.

RedrebelIs this a 4-2-4 or 4-3-3. First of all Tevez can't play as attacking midfielder too small, too weak can't hold the ball.

RicardoYeh I think this is just about right. Tevez can hold the ball with the best & is a great choice for attacking midfielder.

nvr@Redrebel
Doesn't it look like a 4-2-3-1? The era of 3 level formations are long over.

honbosekNEITHER TEVEZ NOR ROONEY SHOULD BE IN A WINGER POSITION
they are not!!!

we should always have two strikers up the front

nvrWe saw ManU in Chelsea game playing with 2 up front as honbosek suggests. Alex Ferguson realized having Berbatov, Tevez and Rooney on the field at the same time won't work.

fabregas123okay... to be honest to get the best out of this united team berbatov should be on the bench, or ronaldo until he reaches full fitness. Rooney should play behind the striker or down the middle, how come hargreaves or giggs aren't in this 11? It should be 4-3-3 the same as most of last season, minus carrick, what is he for he is totally useless.

sp88Reckon I'd call this a 4-2-3-1.
Tevez needs to sit deep as he's fantastic at running at defenders and finding space. Neither Rooney or Tevez are playing as wingers here - that's why Rooney is more central than Ronaldo (hence the room for Evra to bomb up the wing).
Choosing 11 to play with United's squad is damn tricky - Giggs just lost out to Tevez for me. Hargreaves is a good player but not at the expense of Scholes or Carrick, who is a fantastic midfielder - very misunderstood, though he sometimes takes too much time on the ball.
