RedrebelYes, I know Sven doesn't play with a back 3, but come on Sven forget the English way. Anyways, this is the formation I would like seeing Mexico play. And for all those obsessed back 4 lovers the three defenders know how to play in a back 3 so it is not a problem. Pavel and Rafa are deep-lying playmakers and are hard tacklers so I put them as defensive midfielders. A lot of you probably know Giovanni Dos Santos well and I would put him playing wide on the right and Andres Guardado wide on the left. For all the guys that don't know Guardado he is an amazing player he has literally unlimited stamina he can play as full-back, outside midfielder, and winger. Even when Sven plays him as winger he still comes all the way to the box and defend. Now, I put an attacking midfielder "Bofo" is his nickname he almost made it to Europe, but this is a very talented player thought he has a problem he is irregular meaning he sometimes has good games and sometimes bad. All Arsenal fans know Carlos Vela he is the future big gun for Arsenal and I put him as a supporting striker because he likes playing outside the box almost as a winger. Last, I put a traditional target-man De Nigris. In my opinion I think Sven could be very successful with this formation.

diegogdb- I see that you did not include foreign players who have the mexican passport like Vuoso, Franco, Sinha or Leandro.
- Your formation is interesting, but I certainly wouldnt put De Nigris up there, as there are some others strikers better than him: Omar Bravo, Guille Franco, Vuoso, or even Borgetti even though he is way older.
- Im not too confident with Aaron Galindo, so Id keeep Marquez at CB and put Torrado or Luis Perez along Pardo.
- Oswaldo? Have you seen Memo Ochoa? He is the future, and certainly the present.
- Bofo, hmmm, too irregular as you mentioned, why dont you puto Luis Perez or Sinha in that place?

RedrebelYes, I agree you can place other strikers than De Nigris, but the reason I put De Nigris is because he is a classical target man meaning he stays on the box waiting for crosses and he is very good at shielding the ball. Plus, his heading is amazing and if I am not wrong I think he is the tallest striker on the Mexican team. While Bravo, Vuoso, and Franco are more of in and out strikers which means they like to move to a flank than receive the pass and attack from there. In fact, that is a problem the Mexican team is having which is that there is nobody to get in the crosses. Marquez has a better touch than most defenders he even won a free-kick contest in USA not too long ago. Also I put him as defensive midfielder because he has played that position before with Barcelona and has succeed in it. Aaron Galindo is one of Eintract Frankfurt starters and the times he has played for Mexico he has looked very solid and you should have faith on him. For Bofo, Bofo has the talent we all agree on that, but he is irregular. Last, for the goalkeepers you have to see it as a neutral way rather than like and dislike way. Oswaldo has more experience than Ochoa and has leadership qualities. Memo Ochoa has the talent true, and he is the future goalkeeper for Mexico and if you like him be patient he has the spot secured. In the league Ochoa can have an amazing save and suddenly an easy goal goes on him so you can say he is irregular too. Luis Perez is not a traditional attacking midfielder so is Sinha the only true mexican number 10s are Bofo and Cuahtemoc, but Cuachtemoc is done.
