Even so, it highlights Arsenal's problems. Is Denilson the best holding midfielder they've got? Certainly not on a par with Carrick/Hargreaves, Essien/Mikel or Alonso/Mascherano.
Arsenal's midfield is weak defensively which is why they won't win anything worth winning again this season.
