FeriAtsThe fixtures for the season was anounced today. The first kick off is on 15th August.

Who are your favourites? How much will Manchster United suffer from loss of Ronaldo? Will Arshavin make the differnce for Arsenal in a full season? Do Liverpool need another top class striker? Is Ancelotti a big gamble?

Will Aston Villa make it into top 4? Will Fulham continue to shine? Will West Ham find some stability at last? Will Hull City survive this season?

Lots of questions and too much time to wait. I miss football already. No, Confederations Cup do not cut the mustard.

nvrGooner's fixture is horrible. We will probably have a though start. I don't one another season falling behind early and trying to catch afterwards. It's so frustrating...

Robert O'CarlosI'm encouraged for United's future by the fact it was known for a loooong time about Ronnie's departure. I have full faith in Sir Alex to have planned effectively what the team needed. As I keep telling the missus, Rooney will be able to play more of a central attacking role without having to worry about leaving space for Ronaldo to cut in.
:-)

I have to say, with Joorabchian's influence and sliminess to the fore, I'm finding myself glad that Tevez has 'decided' he can't cut at the club. Not that I believe for one second that Tevez's decision was made by Carlos Tevez. United have won that particular PR battle and will be better off not having to deal with Jooranchian.
:-)

As for the league, can't see Arsenal doing much (having to cover the cost of the Emirates might ultimately ruin the club for anextended period), Chelsea might take a while to click with another new manager, United may stutter working through a new system, Liverpool will slip back into their usual almost-but-not-quite-edness. So no out and out main contender should keep it interesting. And Mick McCarthy to be sacked before November.
:-D

FeriAtsSo this must be a prime example of optimisim on your behalf Rob. If Liverpool repeat last year's performance, Mancehster United will not be able match it without Ronaldo. How many points did Ronaldo rescue last year? How many will Valencia?
