nvrWenger was experimenting with 4-3-3 during pre season. I'd be quite surprised if he starts with this one against Everton away. But Arsene being Arsene, he might well do it.

Lescott and Man City affair might cause concentration problems in Everton. I am guessing the game to be easier than expected. Of course Fabregas and Barcelona rumours may spoil the mood within the team.

CaptainGerardAnd the bench is full of teenagers, I reckon. Still not bad for the budget.

nvrWenger chose to start with Bendtner instead of Eduardo. Maybe he prefers a bit more toughness over all.

Everton far from its ideal starting line up due to injuries.

FeriAtsEverton was in such a disarray. Moyes' decission to play Lescott, when he said he is not ready mentally is a managerial suicide.

Arsenal looked solid in defense for a change. I want to see them repeating that for a couple of change before counting them in as contenders though.

nvrWell, I wasn't expecting the game to be THAT easy. Evrton were all over the place. Their defining attriubte is their defense and it was no where near their standart.

Wenger surprised us yet again. Bendtener on the right wing? Now that's eccentric...

I liked Vermaalen's performance. If he can stay away from injuries and play in, say, 30 or so games at this level, he might be the solution to our long standing defensive problems.

RoberticusNVR, you got it pretty much spot, apart from Bendtner on the right flank.

I liked Arsenal's movement. Van Persie in the centre (though frequently dropping off for the build-up play) and with associating Bendtner on the wing echoes Holland's similar tactic of 4-3-3, whereby Van Persie and Kuyt swap roles towards the right. Early days yet, but it could also come to fruition at Arsenal.

Plus, Denilson looks much more comfortable in a midfield three with a holder behind him.

nvrArsenal vision had a good write-up on Denilson:

People just forget he's 21 and not completed his physical development yet. He can only get better.

ZolaI watched the highlights on MOTD. It seems like everything went in when Arsenal attacked. Had our game against Hull went like that, it could have been 12-1 or something.
