Hickey92Lts of movement. Allows Ronaldo, Benzema and Kaka to all play in best positions. The Guti player uld be replaced with someone better like Gerrard or by Higuain as an out and out stiker. The system has no no. 9 but real have good enough ball players and enough of a goal treat not to need one.

FeriAtsNot a bad formation. Is it inspired by Arsene Wenger's latest tactical experiments?

nvrWell, Wenger always used a front man. Van Persie before he picked up the injury, and others according to availablity.
He beriefly used Eduardo on the flank, I guess that what makes you think this formation is inspired by Wenger.
I watched Madrid's game against Osasuna. I know Osasuna have always been a problem for them, but boy was that game boring? Pellegrini is not the man to lead a Galacticos.

Hickey92Inspired by wenger but also roma when they played Totti up front alone in a free role and got midfielders to make up attackers. Also like eveton last year with Cahill and Fellinni

FeriAtsI guess Spalletti can be creditted as the inventor of 4-6-0. The truly had no strikers. No one up front.
Arsenal and Everton were a bit different IMHO. They had designated strikers all the time, but due to injuries they were makeshifts.
BTW, wouldn't you call Benzema a striker?

Hickey92Bezema is a striker but better playing off a centre forward i think. Bad(ish) season at Lyon last year as lne striker..
