SpaceGhostWhen they play 4-4-2 diamond I would expect it to be tight, not nearly this wide, and if Ronaldo is on the field in that formation it would probably be as one of the strikers.

Another option would be to play only one of Benzema or Higuain up top, push the wingers forward, and bring on a Diarra next to Xabi.
