Anyway, Carroll can be an impact sub, together with Maxi & maybe the likes of Pacheco. What is needed
is to pressure the back 4 of our opponent, they are missing vital men in the centre of their defence and i am sure that a game higher up the pitch will force the opponent to allow chances.
with suarez we have someone up front who can kill the game off
and to be honest i really dont mind not seeing gerrard playing, he's been dreadful for most of this campaign, his fitness levels are appaling and i think in today game we need 11 players who will run for their lives.
