Modric has all the freedom of deciding how to play the game, making him am impostant piece in the game. Obvously with Bale and Palacious lurking on the wings (I would prefer someone else for Palacious, lennon doesn't show charatcer ofcourse which is why he is omitted here) Modric has to get it exactly right as to how he wants to play and he has been right most of the time. Rafael Vd Vart in between the quadrialteral has a responsibilty to support 5 players around him and also attimes play the game all by himself. Bale's positon on the left wing is indispensible as he has proved and had made the left side of the field all of his won as he can double up as a left back without any hiccups.

OnceABlueI thought Defoe and Palacios are on their way out. I wonder if they'd generate enough cash to land 'arry the big names he wants.

thebeautifulgame11Defoe is cettainly not on his way out.. He fits into Harry's scheme of things. Concerning Palacious, i am not really sure if there is any interest around for him.

OnceABlueThere were rumours of Italian interest for Palacios, was it Juventus? Can't remember the details.

Defoe didn't get too many starts last season. I bet he's not very happy with that.
