TFCBloggerThis will be a difficult game to predict. There are so many variables. I can't go strictly on how we lined up in Nicaragua as this time around I believe the opponent is higher quality and there is a longer series of games here.
Since Kocic is doing so well I think he'll start this game in order to allow for Frei to fully heal and get some rest. The defense is the big question. With Frings suspended for this game I think Winter will pull Eckersley back into the middle holding Iro's hand and Viator will take his place as full back. On the other side I believe Morgan will be the starter. Not an ideal back four but it's the one I think Winter will play due to still having a lack of depth a the back. If Winter leaves Harden out which I think he will I believe he will be the next one out the door.
Midfield is also going to be interesting. I'm thinking we'll see Sturgis play point back as I have seen him fill this position in the past. De Guzman to me will be on the bench and will come off if we need him. The other two in midfield will be Avila and Dunfield. I like the way Dunfield played in Nicaragua and think he can interchange quite nicely with Avila.
Up front I think Winter will go with Johnson in the center and Plata/Marosevic on either side. Koevermans can use the break and Johnson can still provide some quality up front. It's possible that Winter may bring Martina or Soolsma in on one of the wings for this game but for me this would be off the bench and not to start.
In terms of a prediction I'll say a 1-1 draw. Let's go reds!

ConradViator is injury and Avila can't play in the tournament, I'm guessing de Guzman will start, Eckersly as a full back an probably Henry in CB. Otherwise I totally agree with this line up.

TFCBloggerThanks, I figured out Avila was cup tied and adjusted my post. Didn't know that Viator was injured though.
