TFCBloggerAlthough Frei is listed as probable I think it's too important of a game to pull Kocic out, especially since he's been playing really well. I'm thinking Winter will continue with the 3-4-3 formation until the lack of quality in defense is somehow resolved. With that we'll see Eckersley, Frings and Iro at the back.
Although Avila is listed as questionable I think there would be a lot of motivation to play against his old club and show them up, like DeRo and Gargan did to us this year :-(. De Guzman will play the similar attacking role he's been warming up to lately. Stinson will likely feature on the right side of midfield and I have a feeling we'll see Yourassowsky in the midfield as well. I never liked him as a defender but going forward he causes all kinds of problems for the defense.
Up front Winter will try his best to start Koevermans even though he is listed as questionable with "hamstring tightness". When he plays we take him for granted but when he's not in the lineup you can tell something is missing. He's a great target man with a feel for the game as well as the fact that he has scored some goals since coming aboard.
For me I think Winter will go whole hog with this game as it's the only thing left to fight for this year. The last time we played Dallas we only lost 1 - 0 and had quite a number of new payers in the lineup. Having said that I think we'll do well but it will be a battle. I'm going with a 1 - 1 draw. Let's go reds!
