Janne HLast game against Blackburn was not a good display from our team. Im happy that we made some changes to our team and we did get that long time no see cleansheet. We also collected three important points after playing three very different but hardnbad games agains QPR, Arsenal and Genk (UCL). Important change was that we had Ivanovic playing in RB role and he brought us the mutch needed solid play in that place. Here you can see our last lineup and Fantasy lineup i would like to see next and i want to explain why i want this.
First change i did was Luiz to replace Alex. I dont see any big differens in those players defensive displays but i want that with Luiz we see more his plays from deep. I know he is at times rash but he will come better in time. I want to keep Ivanovic in RB, he was better than Bosingwa, more solid in defense and stats shows that. 13tackles and he won 11 and only lost 2. In middfield I replaced Mikel to Romeu and its simply cause Mikel cannot turn the game forward quick enough. They are both good defensively but Romeu is more creative and thats what we need to take our game into another level. Reason why i added Meireles playing wide is that he finds Torres. Ramirez been great but again i want to add more creativity in our lineup and i see Meireles more creative. Last and the biggest change i want to see is in our attacking line. In last games we have seen Sturridge and Torres partnership. Im not impressed how these players play together. They look too mutch like a competing against each others and they look like they dont want to see other to score. We need partnership in our frontline, we need to see our strikers to feed each others all the time. Its not happening right now and we suffer alot cause of that. Torres is one of the best strikers in world and he has been adapting all the time. Drogba has been in shadows if we talk about scoring but he has been good with his passes and creative play. i see him very important player because his ability to create our play. YES again i say create! We need his passes and his unpredictable playing. He is also the one of the best in world and he is a player who can conjure a goal anywhere. What do you think about this? OnceABlueThis screams the fact that our squads core players are aging fast. AVB is between a rock and a hard place, should he concentrate on rebuilding or should he concentrate on winning silverware?
