Donovan will also drop into the midfield as is expected of him. With Shea moving left, Dempsey moving right, and Donovan dropping deep, the USA will look like a 4-2-3-1. On defense, Shea joins Bradley and Edu in the center to become a central trio, and the USA will be in a 4-3-1-2 on defense.
