kristo68Yes, this is a bit like the old W-M but my Under 17s played this formation a few seasons ago and could not be beaten. The defensive mids shielded the defense superbly, getting the ball quickly to the left & right mids who were both excellent crossers and terrorised defences all season. They conceded only 10 goals during the season - 5 of which were penalties. I'm reviving this for Under 25s this year.

I manage an under 12s team we are currently 4th in our league which is good but there is very hard teams in our league my formation is 1-4-3-2 check it out on my profile we have scored 44 times in 25 games and conceded 30. We have a super goalie solid defense fantastic midfield and great strikers.
