The_Emperor51. Fullbacks provide wide depth during the attack.
2. The wingers act as my inner forwards moving in the box at times.
3. My left centre-back moves forward to create that extra man in the midfield. For that reason my central defensive-midfielder stays backwards to cover that hole at the back in case of a counter attack. This will depend on the situation, it is when the LCB sees it fit that he should move into the midfield, if not the CDM will keep his regular role as a deep-lying playmaker or holding midfielder.
4. Diarra has good enough vision and passing ability to distribute the ball from the back, leaving Alonso just a few metres in front of him. In any case, I could move Alonso into this role and put Diarra upfront or take out Diarra for Nuri.

EL NINO#9i think that alonso should have been where diarra was and di maria for diarra

EL NINO#9and i dont think ramos will be effective there but still real can win even if ronaldo was in defence and pepe to strike

The_Emperor5I understand your point. Yet Di María doesn't have the defensive abilities of Diarra, a natural DM, at least when talking in terms of FIFA 12.

Ramos can be effective because he has the ball control and passing ability for that specific role. Or I could place him as a CDM, then Nuri as my attacking central defender. This is using the philosophy of the attacking sweeper pioneered by German great Franz Beckenbauer, now mostly used by Chelsea with Luiz or Cahill with Essien.
