JimmyGuitaristNo control at the start of the game cost Barca in my opinion. The midfield was a mess. And they have a problem with runners. I thought Messi had a good game but when he went on a run, there was no one infront of him exploiting the space he left. The only one making an attempt to get in-behind was Tello.
I know it’s just “if’s the but’s”, but if Villa was in Tello’s position, Barca still could have won this game quite comfortably. His positioning was great, but poor finishing again. Barca really are lacking players who can get the ball in the back of the net.

david1993tello had some great chances but real Madrid played very good through out the whole team. Rolando shined on the big stage ozil ball through was excellent.
benzema work rate was class. casillias made good saves. over all Madrid achieved what people taught was impossible.
i wanted madrid to win 3-1 ( i had bet Madrid would win 3-1)

nvrStarting with Tello was wrong, keeping him on that long was suicidal. He gave a lot of breathing space to RM defence.

JimmyGuitaristI don't think Tello was completely ineffective. Apart from missing easy chances, he played the rest of his role reasonably well. He stretched Madrid's backline, but there were no runners from midfield to exploit that space.
