DevonGWent for some older names and a good mix of generations, but I think this is the best choice. Good leadership too, with at least 6 former captains in the side.

DevonGOvermars was great in his three seasons, but compared to the success and longevity of Pires and Bastin, there was no space for him. Pires played for Arsenal twice as long and won many more trophies, as well as being a world and european champion. Bastin on the other hand, is still Arsenal's third leading goal scorer of all time (as a winger no less) while being apart of Chapman's great team of the 1930s.
