ImranC1992I like this formation because I really feel like you can have a hybrid 3 - 4 midfield with a hybrid 3 - 2 attack. Both Jack Wilshere and Aaron Ramsey have the vision and skill to become effective creative attacking MF's, and for the future sake of the gunners I want both to be able to take control of the game at a moments notice. Thats why I like Jack on the left wing, we saw Arsene Wegner play CAM's on the left wing all the time last year. That's where he would put Arshavin, that's where he put Benayoun, he even started Ramsey there sometimes. If you put Jack there he can drop back in to the MF and create a really good rotation with him Arteta, Ramsey and even Song rotating and playing the central creative attacking role while the other three midfielders drop back in a 3 man line waiting to make a run or receive a back pass and thus attack themselves. My ideal situation goes something like this, Jack drops back into the MF, Theo and Podolski (hopefully RVP/ Giroud) move towards the center a bit while one of the two player plays more upfront and the other drops back a bit. I like to think you play Theo in front of Podolski because his speed would allow him to stretch the back line creating gaps in the Defense. I think the best situation would be this but with RVP playing behind Theo but we'll see what happens at the start of the year.
