Johnson and Gomez will alternate running the channels and peeling wide to the touchline, which could open up the center of defense for Dempsey. Bradley plays a role pretty much exactly like what he did against Slovenia, acting as a manager of the midfield, but also moving to the flank at times.. Donovan takes after Johnson, looking to be the first in support and providing an intelligent threat from deep that will force the midfield further up and create space between lines for Dempsey.
