TheNearPostCould be an interesting shape, I think. Jones looked fairly good on the left actually, a similar role to that of Benny Feilhaber at the World Cup. It's also somewhat of a 4-1-3-2 in that sense, with Donovan a wide midfielder on the opposite flank, Dempsey in a false nine/second forward role close to Altidore, who will also be leaning towards the left flank.
