mbillington10I thought it would be interesting to post a couple of teams made up from signings made in the last transfer window, mainly because it will be a good laugh to look back at the end of the season and see how many are completely wrong.

I chose 4-2-3-1 and went for balance, so a defender who reads the game well and has good passing ability is paired alongside a more aggresive, dominating defender. In midfield, a creative midfielder is paired alongside a more energetic box to box midfielder.

Neither side is a first team XI as its impossible to know who will do well and who will struggle. These are just two teams made up from players I admire who changed clubs during the transfer window.

The only place that was difficult to pick was a second right back. Jenkinson is only young and I'm sure Wenger would have prefered to integrate him more patiently into the first team but his inexperience has shown in his performances so far, but he'll probably mature into a very good player with time. Personally, I'm not convinced by Hutton or Luke Young, so I went with Wes Brown, who, when injury free is a top defender.

Anyway, no doubt at the end of the season I'll look back and laugh at how wrong I was, but these are only my personal preferences, and I'm sure there are players I've overlooked who will do better than some I have included.
