theformationnerd123Attacking Midfielder
Center Midfielder
Defensive Midfielder

Those three like an Argument like they stay in the midfield like always its like the defending Midfielder Always Helps the Defend and the Center Midfielder always Help the Mid and Attack Midfielder Helps the attack. in this point. The Midfield is the Most Important Part of Football. not only Defend. Midfield is the key for the Attack and the Defend. Well this formation is Called 4-1-3-1-1. its a Very Balanced Formation in the Midfield. What Do you Think Of it?

Agent_LewisIt's quite good if you have good box-to-box wing mids that can deliver the crosses from the flanks and yet won't be defensive liabilities. However, if your wing mids plan on staying within the middle third of the pitch, then you'll have to depend on your fullbacks to feed your attackers out on the flanks. But, that's the way some teams play (i.e. Inter with Maicon)

Robert O'CarlosAgree with Agent_Lewis. There doesn't seem much attacking threat from wide areas as it's laid out here. That might encourage the opposition to push up on it's flanks and you might be on the back foot more often than not.
The balance of the system seems to be in your defense as though the plan would be to sucker teams to come onto you and then look to win the ball and break quickly. The problem then is your point of attack is very centralised and easy for the opposition to predict.
If you have a defensive midfielder, there's really no need for the central midfielder to think about holding his position and shielding your back line so he can push further forward. Except he can't because he would then cut off the space for the attacking midfielder.
I would lose the central midfielder and play 2 attacking midfielders instead, with the wide midfielders able to hug the touchline (4-1-4-1).

theformationnerd123So. but with thier attacking forward the formation turns into a 4-1-1-3-1. but not sure about the 4-1-4-1 because there is only one center midfielder

Robert O'CarlosI see what you're getting at Formationnerd. Just seems like there's no real need for the central midfielder though. You have someone attacking centrally from midfield when going forward, and someone shielding the back line when not in possession. I just think you could use that player to get more width into the system elsewhere.
But each to their own.
