theformationnerd123The way that its played. the two wings right there will attack towards the Strikers and also the Full Backs the sides RB and LB will help the two wings. and the two center midfielders will stay sticky to be pass masters. and also you can let on them attack and you must keep one center midfielder out the 6-yard box. Any Comments?

Robert O'CarlosFor me, 4-4-2 is the standard all round system. Can switch between 4-4-2, 4-2-4, or 2-4-4 depending on the play.
The wingers look to run infield rather than hugging the touchline creating space for the fullbacks to overlap on the attack. And the 2 central midfielders will not look to commit themselves too far forward but rather allow the play to happen in front of them. If 1 of them does go forward, the other needs to be disciplined and hang back. Take note Gerrard and Lampard!
It's the classic modern (is that an oxymoron?) 4-4-2. Works for me.
