Robert O'CarlosNot sure what you mean by 'your position', m8.
:-)
You've got just about every position up here except goalkeeper. I'm assuming this is another console game effort and you've put yourself on the game?

theformationnerd123LOL, nope in real life:D. but accualty you can create yourself in PES2009 and import your face and also your skills i dont know much about putting yourself into the game.

RedrebelMy football position is all positions. I have played all the positions from Sweeper, Goalkeeper to Winger or Striker. All I can tell you is that every position has its beauty and its negative. The hardest position in football is goalkeeper. The easiest is striker, but my favorite is center-midfielder. I like attacking and defending from box-to-box, but it sometimes it get's kind of hard. The position I hate the most is outside midfielder because you have to run back and forth and you don't always get the ball. I also like playing center-back I love to trash and slide tackle people :}, but the thing I hate about being a center-back is that you never get recognition, most people don't admire the art of defense, they don't see the beauty in a well timed slide tackle or they never see the courage and agressiveness a defender has to have when you are one-on-one against an opponent.

Robert O'CarlosAll I can say to FormationNerd and RedRebel here (and it's meant kindly) is that I'm guessing you never play at a particularly high standard. And all I mean by that is that, when you start to play for a more professional outfit, they wouldn't want you to be a jack-of-all-trades, but rather to concentrate on your strengths and specialise a bit more.
Hope that doesn't sound like I'm putting you guys down there. That's not how it's meant.
:-D
I played for a semi-professional, lower league club (very lower league!) for 4 years and only got to play up front during jokey training kickabouts, never in a real situation. My main position was at right back, although I was fairly decent with my left so occasionally left back, and occasionally just in front of the defense in midfield.

RedrebelWell, I played third division football and I don't know if you would call that high standard, but you are right Robert. Most teams want you to specialize in your strenghts. But, some players like me have the height, aggresiveness, speed, and strenght which allow us to adapt very quickly to any position.

Robert O'CarlosThe old utility man, eh?
