luckyI want to try this formation to my U15 team. 4 defenders, 2 holdiing midfielders, 3 midfielders & 1 striker. Player 8 & player 9 will assist the main striker when attacking. Will it work?

RicardoYeh heaps good. Encourage # 10 to play 2nd striker if they get the chance too.

jmancubsfanThis is becoming a very popular formation and can be very effective if everyone knows their role. With a U15 team I would just make sure you tell them how to play their role rather than just where to play. In looking at this formation it should put a lot of players behind the ball defensively but that assumes players like the two holding midfielders don't get pulled into the attack too much. Hopefully your #10 is a strong and talented playmaker and can take advantage of having the ball in front of the opponent's defense. I'd be interested to hear your observations on how it goes. Good luck...
