Two strikers, usually one fixed more centrally, the other more mobile.

FeriAtsThe attacking set up rings a bell: Raducioiu, Lacatus, Hagi during USA 94 springs to mind. But I fail to remember any team playing with 3 backs. For instance, that Romania team had a pretty standard back line of Dan Petrescu, Popescu, Belododici and Prodan.
