sgeckoThe Revolution back line is pretty solid, but not good enough for a 3-5-2, so I'm opting for this 4-4-2 diamond. Attacking backs Sinovic and Alston. Joseph plays distribution for Tierny, Nyassi and Phelan who can feed to Perovic's head of Schilawski's feet.

Jaap StamTierney, Joseph and Nyassi have to run their socks off, if Phelan is playing like an attacking midfielder.

sgeckoI had figured that Joseph would play more of the holdup/distribution role. Tierney and Nyassi are already running, and Sinovic and Alston are providing forward support as well. You might be right, though.
