sgeckoWithout Joseph, the Revs started with Niouky and Phelan in the middle. Colorado controlled the midfield all night long. In the 75th minute, the Revs fielded a 3-5-2 with Alston, Gibbs and Barnes in back. They added Khano Smith to the wings, and replaced Schilawski and Dube with Jankauskas and Mansally. That arrangement sped up the attack, but the Revs were never able to come back and lost 2 - 1.

ZolaI always thought switching from a 4 men defense to a 3 men one took lots of reframing in defenders and midfielders minds. Hence so few play a 3-5-2.

So was this we have to get something from this game, let's throw the dice type of thing? Or do Revs really have the ability to play both?
