GoonerMelbThis will be my predicted line up for Carling Cup game against Newcastle. We have a good chance to win this cup, so I expect Wenger to field a regular young CC team with a bit mixture of experience.

Szczesny hopefully will have his first start this season in this game. Koscielny will start this one, together with Djourou will be playing CB. With Sagna back from injury and just complete 90 minutes last night, I would play Eboue in RB and give chance for Clichy to rest and play Gibbs at LB.

Denilson need more game time so I expect him to start as holding MF with Lansbury taking B2B role beside him. Rosicky will captain the side and take the attacking MF role to give Fabregas and Nasri a rest.

Walcott and Bendtner will definitely have to start this match to regain fitness, and Vela to play as LWF.

Bench: Fabianski, Nordveit, Eastmond, Henderson, Nasri, Arshavin, JET

I would love to see JET got a minutes in this game. He done really well in Reserve's game and he deserved to play in this game.

FeriAtsI am not sure Wenger will give Bendtner and Walcott a start at the same time. One of them will start and be substituted at the start of the second half with the other. Wenger generally eases people into the game when they come back from a long injury.

Anyway, it's a nice change to see more senior players in Carling Cup. We could have ended the silverware drought long ago had we done this earlier for one of the cups.

GoonerMelbI read in Wenger's post match interview that he will field a strong team for Newcastle game, so I think he will go with Vela - Bendtner - Walcott upfront. Bendtner probably won't fit to play the whole 90 minutes, so I'm hoping JET could replace him in 2nd half and get the opportunity to show what he can do.

But again, no one could read Wenger's mind so expect the unexpected. For once we got good depth in our team with not so many players injured at the moment. So it's a bit of problem to choose which player will start with many of them have limited playing time, however it's a good problem to have rather than our usual "injury problem".
