LarsPGoalkeeper: This one is given; Cech

Defense: Ashley Cole and John Terry is given.
Luiz seems to me like a better full back than a central defender as he has good pace, great anticipation, very good technique, but plays way to risky. Ivanovic is solid as a rock and is better suited in the center. In the long run Chelsea should get a new right full back and Luiz (hopefully more matured) can play alongside Ivanovic in the centre as Terry is getting close to retirement.

Midfield: This one is controversial at best, but I think that McEachran will be absolutely brilliant in the deep playmaker role (think Pirlo) that Ancelotti has been testing him in. His role will be to link the defense together with the rest of the midfield and the strikers. McEachran is a natural and sees openings and possibilities that even seasoned vets don't spot. Sky's the limit.
Lampard is given as the offensive central midfielder. Ramires is the perfect compliment to both Lampard and McEachran as he is a physical specimen, not in the Arnold Scwarzenegger kind of way, but because of his great accelration, pace and work rate. His ability to cover large areas enables both Lampard and McEachran to move forward when Chelsea has got the ball.

Attack: This is tricky as well since alot of the strikers has been struggeling with bad form lately and not to mention that Chelsea lacks a natural right winger.
Torres is given as he cost as much as the BNP of a small nation.
Malouda has shown great synergy with Lampard and Cole in the past. I'm sure that he's just been suffering under the bad team form/moral and has plenty of skill left in him. If he can return to his 2010-form, then Chelsea is set on the left wing position.
Kalou is a frustrating guy to watch as he does alot of simple mistakes and misses alot of clear chances... but, the guy can actually move and does wonders for the rest of attacking players as he shifts the attention away from them and creates openings. He is still pretty young so there's still a possibility that he can improve on his current flaws and become a quality striker in the future. I do however hope that Chelsea purchases a natural right winger a lá Thomas Müller or Alexis Sánchez.

So that's my 11 for Chelsea. What do you guys think? Please ignore any errors as English is not my first language. =)

ZolaThere's a telepathic link between Malouda and Drogba. When Drog is not on the pitch Malouda is not half the player he is. I would have used Zhirkov instead.

Kalou has consistency problems, I don't see him being a regular starter.

Essien always deserves a spot over Ramires.

hobberstLuiz can not play Champions League ..

LarsPZola: The collaboration Malouda/Drogba has been good in the past (last season that is), but we haven't really seen what Malouda can do when paired with Torres. Zhirkov is interesting, but he hasn't performed to well when he's gotten the chance (like last night).

Hobberst: I know that Luiz is inelligible for the Champions League, this is a lineup for normal league play. I should have pointed that out. =)
