rennylaloowhat about lucas and meireles? you think they will be moved on this summer or drop to the bench? all three of the midfielders can hit hollywood passes but i still think they need someone to tackle and play the simple passes. team does look very quick and direct though!

Lucas the main ball winner in the last formation and Adam would be the playmaker. In the other formation all three midfielders would have defensive duties

nvrI assumed Gerrard would be the play maker. I watched Adam a couple of times this season he looks like a Gerard-lite and I can't see the point in having both of them on the field at the same time.

Totally different players IMO. Adam is more Alonso type player whereas Gerrard is a all round midfielder best in the final third.

rennylalooI think Henderson and Adam would probably compete for the same spot, both 'alonso' type players but both always look to hit the killer ball straight away. In the second diagram I would have carrol upfront and Suarez in hendersons position.. But Liverpool definatly building a strong squad. A winger or two and a full back needed maybe?
