JoynertwWith Aquilani coming back you can find a spot for him in the midfield as well. I expect Liverpool to make a couple more signings but the classic AC Milan "christmas tree" could put both Suarez and Gerrard in a free role which would suit both of them well. The width comes from Kelly, Gerrard, Suarez, and Johnson with Henderson helping push wide at times as well.

nvrJohnson at left back is wrong. I know Dalglish played him there last season, but that was a stop gap measure. Isn't Insua coming back from loan?

JoynertwInsua turns like an oil tanker. All indications are that Insua is good as gone. Aurelio will still be around but is only healthy for 3 games a season. It's a position that needs to be addressed but the point of th is was Liverpool with no additional signings as of today.

SanzYeah with no new signings Johnson would be at left back. Insua's contract is supposed to be up this summer and Aurelio isn't feasible because of his injuries. Of course we will definitely sign a left back before the end of August though...

As for the team overall, like the idea but i'd expect Kuyt to start before Henderson. He's still an important senior player whereas Jordan, though talented, is a bit raw and isn't likely to walk straight into the side, week-in, week-out. He should be eased in.
